I really miss Mr. Serad's "Trial By Fire" reviews. My pipe-tobacco palate seemed similar to his and he led me to some absolute gems!
I had dinner with him many years ago, also in the company of Greg Pease and the Tarler clan. Chicago show I believe. Very nice guy. I have his trial by fire magazine...signed by him on the cover 20+ years ago....and his signature wore off! Yes, I referred to it often. He knows tobacco...!
Btw ....Greg Pease also knows tobacco. And he's hilarious. Not trying to hijack the thread, just remembering how Greg made my wife and I laugh.
