Everyman

My mother came across a London Pipe Company Everyman that belonged to my father during his college years.....it'll be headed my way soon. From the pic she sent me, looks like the original box and bag are in very good condition, so I figure it was very lightly used. I've looked online a bit, but wondered if anyone could speak about this pipe some, it should be a late 60s model.

They were a second of Comoy. Value priced, probably a fill somewhere. Good smokers in my experience. Enjoy!

That's so great that you have one of the Dad's pipes and with the sock and box! It looks like it's in great condition too. I'll bet he smoked it while playing chess. That's what college men of that period did. Enjoy.

Sounds like a fairly economical pipe, very true to form for my pops...lol. I'm currently building an inset shadow box into one of the walls in my home, I think this pipe/box will reside there. Since my mom found out about this project, she's been on the search for older pipes as well.....apparently she has been contacted by a lady in a neighboring town who is willing to part with a collection that belonged to her father and grandfather...most are pushing 80 yrs old and several are "hand carved", though I haven't seen any pics. I'll post a few pics when it's done. Fair warning, the initial hole in the drywall has been there for nearly a year, so it my be a while :D

Wow Mo! That is so nice to get your father's pipe and maybe another collection also. My first pipe was an Everyman 215. It was a very good one that has been lost for many years. Wish that I had it back. Enjoy yours.
