Smoke them at the right dryness level and they're all no brainers. Why smoke something you have to think about?

Nothing really every day, but some of my “no brainers” are: Cumberland, Oak Alley, Yorktown, Anni Kake, and OGS. They’re all comfortable to just smoke, but each can draw my attention if I let them.

No brainers are Chatham Manor and Yorktown. They require no prep, smoke well, and provide an enjoyable experience.

Lately it's Old Gowrie. In the summer it's Connoisseur Flake from Park Lane.(This is a clone of Ed Burak's late and lamented "Scottish Ribbon" from his Connoisseur Pipe Shop in NYC.

For me it has been ODF Ready Rubbed or Newminster No.403 Superior Round Slices. Both provide a satisfying smoke every time.
