I have considered buying Bacardi 151 for cleaning my pipes, too. Problem is that in my province it is only sold in a 750 ml bottle for $41. That's mighty steep for a pipe cleaning solution! I stick to regular 80 or 100 proof stuff so I can get away with buying 50 or 200 ml miniatures as I need them. (I seldom have spirits around the house for drinking purposes; if I did it'd invariably be whiskey, which can be nice for pipe sweetening sometimes)

I was led to believe Everclear couldn't be bought in the Chicago area, however I just walked in to a wine and liquor store down the block from my office and picked up a bottle.

Heck, Chicago is only 900 miles from me. Might as well stop by Nick's Fish Market for some abolone while I'm at it. That'll make the trip worthwhile.
