I always say over 100, because I have rack room for exactly 72, and then I have smaller racks throughout the house, studio, sone in drawers, some in my truck, the barn, and I know that I have left some at the cabin. I just have no idea of an exact number. Tinsky has some on the way to me, and I think I ordered some on eBay that I may be waiting on… I may or may not have ordered on from a sponsor here… and I just don’t know. When I get them in the mail, it’s like Christmas. Or, when I find one that I forgot I had. I’m not a careful person with my pipes.

I'm afraid if I count them all my wife will find out how many I really have  . If I don't know she neither does she. But to be honest, a lot of them are in tubs from I when had tables at pipe shows. So I don't really feel the need to get them out and count them. I have close to 300ish in total, but there are only about 100 that are part of my collection or are actively in rotation.

I have two large flat rate USPS boxes addressed to SPC, but that i smoke i have 4 meers that get used randomly, 4 briars i do most of my smoking with, 6 cobs that don’t get used but look nice on a rack and 7 smaller group old bowls i might use someday. Most of my pipes are in those shipping boxes, 45 to be exact.

I think I have around 30 or so, but I couldn't give you an exact number unless I went to check. I think I have enough, but that doesn't stop me from wanting and buying more, lol. Kinda like tobacco. This hobby is a disease to many of us

I buy my pipes at antique fairs and antique dealers. From my point of view I am rescuing old pipes from oblivion, I am also restoring and selling them. Generally at the lowest price for the corresponding make and model. If I see a pipe at a price that is worth the trouble to restore it and sell it later, I'll probably buy it. This year I have not been selling, so they have accumulated. But the idea is to get rid of 75% of my pipes.
