Evening with the grandkids

A cool crisp Gulf Coast evening, the grandkids making smores, while I enjoy cowboy coffee in my favorite MM and a Woodford chaser.

We were all having a great time until Mom and Grandma came back from their mother daughter time and got mad that they were having chocolate so close to bedtime.

That was when all 3 turned on me and said Pawpaw made us eat smores. Reminded me of their mother when my wife was trying to make her into a girly girl, and I was teaching her to hunt, fish and work on motorcycles.

Now that we live near our grandkids,i just love going to mass with them on Sunday. I count my blessings every day.
Both of ours were over to watch the Ravens fumble away the game last night. Took some sting out of the loss. The seven year old spent the night.
Grandkids are the best!
