Coffee, Grace Jones style (black and bitter), also on very bad day when I break out the Penzance I enjoy a glass of Jim Beam Black.

Marm, how have we not yet gotten together to enjoy a bowl, our tastes seem to be pretty damned copacetic; I too favour a dark beer with my pipe, although I've been drawn to OK Springs Porter as of late.

Failing that, a couple of fingers of good rye always seems to hit the spot.

Pepsi, chocolate milk, milk, coffee or water, in that order of preference.
What I actually end up drinking 95 times out of 100 is water or nothing though.

I do like Guiness but I'm more a Shiner Bock guy. As far as non-adult beverage I'd go with coffee, tea, or water. Gotta do something during the day!

I like a nice malty ale. Theakston's Old Peculiar is good, seems to bring out the sweetness of a Virginia tobacco to me. I'm still feeling my way around pipe smoking though, so I wonder if different drinks work better with different tobaccos?

Yes different drinks work with different tobaccos. Finding just what tends to be highly individual though.
