Note: I'm posting this a day early as I am off to the airport tomorrow.

Our featured interview on the Pipes Magazine Radio Show on Tuesday, October 14 is with Eugene Falco from The Uncanny! Material and the Greywoodie Podcast. Eugene is super creative in the world of pipes, art, and podcasting. His creative output spans beyond pipes, including his tobacco tin art and his role as co-host of the Greywoodie podcast alongside Nathan Davis of Kaywoodie. In addition, he helps organize the Capitaland Pipe Show. His pipe making style is characterized by a balance of traditional forms and his own quirky twist—often through bold, colorful stems and unconventional rustication techniques. At the top of the show in Pipe Parts, Brian will answer two listener’s questions by taking a deep dive into the size of the pipe bowl and what it means for your smoking experience.

The show airs every Tuesday at 8:00pm eastern US time, and can be found at PipesMagazine.com and all podcast apps.

Euguene has a lot of fun interests and I am interested to see more of his artwork, as the graphic novel art is something that I have always enjoyed. It also shows in his pipe work, and I'm going to have to see one of his glow-in-the-dark pipe stems, as that adds a whole new level of fun to pipe smoking. Thanks Brian for the reminder bout pipe bowl sizes, as that is something I wish I had known a long time ago for different blends.

Always good to get a refresher on bowl sizes and what tends to perform better in which ones.

It was fun to learn even more about Eugene.

As for not being able to pay for the entire show, I’m down to pitch in to keep it going. Remember folks, supporting the show also supports Nate King’s In-N-Out habit which is helps him keep pumping out top notch pipes.

Yes, friend of bats! We have a bunch of bats that come through our place and we love the little suckers. They have a really meaningful impact on our quality of life through their consumption of mosquitos and other insects, and the childlike wonder they inspire when they zip in front of one’s face silently while smoking on the porch. Bats are cool and good, and thanks to Brian for advocating for human kindness towards bats.
Really got hung up on that eight seconds of the show, huh.
