This just arrived today, pleasantly surprized at the condition it's in. Appears very lightly smoked with no issues I can see. I don't know anything about this brand and will have to take the time to research it and a few others I have.

Hi davet,
Wellingtons were made by the William Demuth Company (WDC). A quick search on eBay for "WDC Pipe" should render many examples. At one time it was estimated that WDC was producing about 200K pipes per year, with about 70% of those being the hugely popular Wellington model. Another interesting little factoid, the Wellington was the type of pipe that Lee Van Cleef smoked in the spaghetti western "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly". Nice acquisition and I hope it brings you years of pleasure.

Metal work doesn't always flatter a pipe, but all of this does. Striking.

High end WDC Wellingtons are every bit as nice as Peterson system pipes. They are excellent lower cost alternatives. There are a lot of them around and it is easy to find nice ones. Yours is pretty striking with the wind cap.
