Hello everyone,

I've received today an estate falcon pipe and while cleaning it I discovered a little crack as per the picture. Appreciate opinions on how to deal with it as I like to keep the pipe.
I thought of welding or using epoxy.

Welding it would be nearly impossible, while the tube is aluminum the rest of the pipe is “white metal” aka pot metal. It would not withstand the heat being in proximity to the arc needed to weld the tube which is itself very thin and would be nearly impossible to weld.

I’d say JB weld marine would be your best bet.

I greatly appreciate every response. I purchased the pipe from a seller of antiques. Although I have the option to return it, I prefer to keep it, particularly because it provides an additional bowl for my second falcon. However, I will choose to use JB weld for the repair as well. Much appreciated.
