I recently posted pictures of a pair of pipes I picked up. I ask fellow member Ed to do the clean up on these two. I have restored a few estate pipes, but these were pipes I didn't want to take a chance on damaging.
The last picture is both pipes and a walnut tamper that Ed had made.
Ed did beautiful work and I couldn't be happier with the results. As they were quite fadded he restained both pipes. The stems were yellow when he started and now shine like new. Now to decide which one to smoke first.
