Back to the pinholes in Esoterica bags: It MAY be only that the paint has chipped off that give the impression the bag is insecure. By squeezing the bag, you can tell whether it's drying out or not. My stash of Margate is pretty secure without jarring or mylar.

Great reminder to check my square tins. I miss those old old sardine tins, those were cute!

How much Penzance does one really need? I've been working through this 2012 8oz bag for 4/5 years now.
I don't need any. It's not a blend that I like. The occasional bag seems to launch itself at me when I'm looking for something else, so I have some to give or trade away.

Thanks & I’ve never Mylared ? in my life. Never had an occasion that I can recall where an ESO bag was punctured either. I think the Esoterica bags hold up rather well when properly stored and no constant fingering, hugging or squeezing to present concern.
My belief

It might be that what we have here is a simple case of a bunch of fellas fiddling with their faddle a bit too much. ?☕️…

Yes, but when those apparent pinholes riddle the corners of the bag, it looks pretty Bolshy.

And I believe a gentle squeeze serves a purpose other than a Scrooge McDuck bath in cash.
