Esoterica on Smoking Pipes?

Would that I had a B&M that I could establish a relationship with… but the nearest us 90+ minutes away and even then I would be at best an occasional customer due to the excessive excise taxes in my state.

The closest B&M that I dealt with was about 1000 miles away.
With the exception of Tobacco Trader, LA is a pipe tobacco desert, and getting to Tobacco Trader is a 45 minute to 1 hour drive with the traffic. A thousand miles is just a phone call away.

Tobacco Trader is my local BM, Manny and Anna have always treated so well. I went to the shop today to see if they had their allotment in yet but no such luck. I buy most of my cigars, Toscanos and some tins and bulk even though it’s much cheaper to online.

My B&M gets them every so often. They are like the "Opus X" or "Opus One" of pipe tobacco.

They sit until specific buyers come and snag them.
