Its a strange thing to change the tin to round. Im still trying to figure out the change to the actual flakes in erinmore. I smoked it once upon a time, and kept the empty tin.

And i just cant get my head around a rectangle flake into a round tin, unless the flake is smaller now.

And i just cant get my head around a rectangle flake into a round tin, unless the flake is smaller now.
The reason for the change to round is that there isn't enough room on the small flat square tins for the labeling now required by law in many countries. Even the round tins had to be switched to ones without the ridges so that the new stickers can go right to the edge. They don't stack as well now because of that. But the benefit is a better seal for long term storage.

The round tins have more space inside, not less.
