A member here sent me a generous sample of old stock (super sauced) Ennerdale, I think back towards the end of 2021. It was several years old at that time. I fell head over heels for it, and it became my Sunday tobacco. I had enough to last a few months at that rate. When I saw that it was running low, I ordered a bulk pound. What I got was not the same thing I'd been smoking - it smelled the same in the pouch, but did not produce near the same level of flavor when smoked. I was bummed. I jarred it and rarely reach for it anymore. The older stuff was in my top few tobaccos of all time.
