Enjoying the Small Things in Life

So as a lot of you know, I just got done moving to a new apartment with my girlfriend. I was kind of paranoid for the first few weeks that with the increased rent and utility bills, I wouldn't have enough money left over for any more pipes and baccy. I just got done paying the first round of utilities and rent, and it turns out that we have plenty of money left over not only to spoil the girlfriend, but enough money for pipes and baccy as well. On top of that, we have a roof over our heads, we have electricity, we have heat and central air, we have clothes on our back, we have food in our cabinets, and I have baccy in my pipe and an ever growing cellar. I don't think I could ask for anything more, and I think its important every once in a while to be grateful for the things that we have. I figured I would share my uplifting revelation and remind everyone not to take the small things for granted.

Amen. Reading about some of the hardships people here are enduring, I think of how blessed I am. ::

I agree . I could have lived with not having enough extra cash for luxuries, but realizing that I can still have my hobby makes everything that much sweeter.
