Been a while since I have opened a tin of McClellands, this is my last straight Virginia tobacco of theirs I have. Still have a few of the frog mortons in the cellar but would prefer to have had more virginia and VA/Per blends from McClellands instead. Despite this there are really so many great tobaccos in the market right now. Personally I'm on a HU and DTM tobacco kick as I'm finding many of there blends to be both exceptional in taste and quality.

Good stuff. I still have a few tins of CC and 40th in the cellar. I only break it out these days for special occasions and the holiday season. I hope to enjoy those unique flavors for a few more years to come.

Buddy of mine gave me a tin of the 2001 vintage, and I don't yet trust myself to adequately enjoy it. Maybe this Christmas I'll open it.

McClelland's was the king of Virginia's until they closed down. There are a number of very good Virginia's out there. IMHO none are quite what McClelland's had to offer.

North Georgia mountains.
I'm really getting the itch to crack a tin myself. Just trying to justify it to myself, as I have more than enough opened tins to smoke already.
But I will agree - DTM and HU have out out some fantastic blends. I'll hope to have enough Hamborger Veermaster to last me for as long as I'm smoking a pipe.
