GLPs Lombard and Laurel Heights are Virginias with just a smidge of latakia for a slight leathery taste.
I have to agree with ya on Presbyterian. It's light on latakai and a very good blend.Presbyterian, that is all.
With such a name I first think "Scottish", but there's no Cavendish!Presbyterian, that is all.
Yep, and GLP confirmed. Similarly Hans Wiedeman of HU tobacco said in an interview at the Dutch Pipe Blog that the % of Lat is less telling than the overall composition of the blend regarding how heavy a Lat bomb it tastes like.Jeremy Reeves from C&D did remark in some video on Youtube that Latakia in large proportions tends to be fairly subdued, and that in smaller proportions, it tends to overpower other components. Of course, it probably depends on the other blending components used, and I‘m pretty sure he wasn‘t referring to Lat-bombs.
Originally it was a personal blend for a minister in the Church of Scotland. As a Scot I have no idea of how Cavendish got associated with Scotland. With such a name I first think "Scottish", but there's no Cavendish!
