This is my first post. I smoked a pipe for a short time in college and my grandfather smoked a pipe all his life. I've recently found some very fine Wally Franks and will post pix of them as soon as I can take a suitable photo. Meanwhile, while researching William Demuth & Co. I came across an article about pipes from the June 26, 1920 issue (Number 1) of Advertising & Selling / The National Weekly of Modern Merchandising (Established 1891). Four pages are attached. I know all pipe smokers are always looking around for any information about pipes. And I hope you, my reader, so to speak, will enjoy this. It more about advertising than pipes, but does have some Demuth advertising.

Neil:
I just finished restoring my first WDC burner earlier this evening. It's certainly not a great smoker but I love the classic Billiard shape. The pipe is serviceable and it'll be gifted to a newcomer on down the road to fill out a proper rotation.
