I used to have a butt load of them I'd keep in the garage with odd screws and whatnots, but as time went on I couldn't remember what I had in which tins, so I transferred it all to empty glass baby food jars and chunked the tins.

I reload ammo so I use the 100g paint can style cans to store bulk bullets. They're pretty heavy duty and save household ears from lots of swearing when those damn plastic bags tear and scatter $h!* everywhere.

For the moment I keep them. Some cans I have given as gifts to family members who like the vintage style of some brands. I love tobacco pouches, I don't throw them away either. I use some cans to store various utensils. But if I had thousands of cans, like some forum members, maybe I would have to throw some of them away. For those of us who like traditional, antique or vintage, it is difficult to get rid of these mythical souvenirs.

Recycle most, but I love the artwork of Tobacco tins, so I have a couple of each blend.
The way Canada has taken the branding off tobacco is borderline criminal (IMO) and anti creativity.
Canada at the forefront of the extermination of rights and freedoms. It is one of the most ridiculous governments I have ever seen in my life...........

Ashtrays. I also use them to store Christmas ornament hooks (and some ornaments). Used DE Razor blades. Other than that, they clutter up my basement.

I actually read an article somewhere about Altoids tins that people turned into sewing kits, survival kits, and even a radio. Don't ask me how they did a radio, but I suppose the sky is the limit if you're imaginative enough. I assume tobacco tins could be used similarly.
Well...
