Hi guys. What do you guys do with the empty tobacco cans? Do you guys keep it? I already have two empty cans, don't know what to do with them, I converted my first empty tobacco can into an ash tray with cover.

Most chuck them out but I just keep a stash around for no real purpose other than to clutter up my office ?
I replace the paper with greaseproof paper, fill them with bulk, screw them down tight and seal them with aluminium tape.
I decorate my garage / pipe lounge with empty tins. My garage has plywood. I simply put a screw through the empty tin and into the wall. Then I twist the tin lid onto the tin that is anchored to the wall.
Other than Arcadia Plug and Best Brown No:2 cans I don't get saddled with that many empty tins and those empties I usually give to Oddball my next door neighbor who uses them from screws and sh*t of that nature.
I actually read an article somewhere about Altoids tins that people turned into sewing kits, survival kits, and even a radio. Don't ask me how they did a radio, but I suppose the sky is the limit if you're imaginative enough. I assume tobacco tins could be used similarly.

I keep one of each design that I like, and a few small square/rectangle ones to carry bulk from the jar in. And I throw the rest away. I smoke so much that if I kept them all, I wouldn’t be able to do much more in my house.

I use an empty tin when I travel instead of a bag or pouch.
I have them all over the shop so, now I simply send them to the landfill.

I have some of the more handsome ones on a shelf as decorations. Others I use for guitar picks, nuts and bolts, fishing rod guides, etc. The nacho cheese cans for c&d usually get pitched. I'd recycle them but I'm guess the goo they're lined with can mess with the recycling process, at least I've heard. I have used one as a snail trap in my aquarium and it worked well.
