So, I see a lot of short comments and inside jokes about this one. Actually, I don’t have access to so many tobaccos here in Japan and I saw this one so I ordered it just to try something different. I have to go with aromatics because of my family. My question is 1. Do I really need to dedicate a pipe to this one? And 2. General thoughts? - there aren’t any video review and there aren’t a whole lot of actual reviews anywhere.

As for dedicating a pipe, that depends on you but the topping used in this is fairly distinct and to your discretion whether you mind crossover aromas.

This one is strange, because it's a nice little brick of grassy Virginia flake with an odd berry topping. It would seem to "clash" somehow, but I wouldn't say it's bad. It's certainly not best in class, however.

I always find myself wondering what the blender's intent was with this one. Were they modelling it after something or hoping to create setting unique? Because I can't imagine what this could possibly have been inspired by.

I've never even heard of Elwood Flake.
This description reminds me of Brunello Flake.
Granted Brunello has some burley and Turkish but it's largely a "bright Virginia" flake. That tin note though.. straight up strawberry Now And Later.
I'm amazed every time I smoke it - it tastes much better than it smells.
