So the B&M store in Ann Arbor Michigan, Edward Maison, has a blend called Black Truffle. It is a very nice aromatic blend. If i had to guess it is a mix of black cavendish, latakia with a vanilla top note. Tonight i tried to match it with what I had on hand.
I think I have a close match using SPC Plum Pudding and Sutliff Vanilla Custard in equal parts. Its not exact but its dang close. The major difference is how it takes to flame.
Black Truffle takes 1 maybe 2 lights and almost no relights.
Anyways I thought I would share cause it does taste so good and this is a slightly cheaper alternative. Albeit i would glady spend the extra coin to support Edward Maison and to have their exact blend. Until i can make another run down state this shall suffice.
