I am proud to say that I am now a Certified Tobacconist. Specifically, a CST, which is a professional degree that stands for Certified Salesforce Tobacconist. That is the designation for someone that works in the profession, but not in a retail store.

This means that I have done the course work in Tobacco College, Tobacco Accoutrements College, Taste College and Service College, and passed the Final Exam.
I took the exam in Vegas at the show and scored the highest out of the class of about 30 people. Of a possible high score of 103, I scored a 101. A minimum of 90 is required to pass.
I am now working on my Certified Master Tobacconist degree, which I should achieve by mid-October. FYI to strictly pipe guys, the curriculum is about 85% cigar related. It's real cool though. I love learning about tobacco.
Anyone can sign-up. They have a CCT, which is the designation for Certified Consumer Tobacconist.

Kevin: Thanks for highlighting the website which I enjoyed. I noted the section about carrying an unlit cigar. I wholeheartedly second the suggestion with regard to a pipe. Our men should always carry a pipe and especially exhibit same unlit in locations that smoking is not permitted. I have received many positive responses to having a pipe in my hands and in my mouth while shopping in local stores and always receive compliments from men whose fathers and grandfathers smoked one.

Bob's Bio is very Funny. I have question I dose not tell you how to become a CCT without a sponsor is there a way?

His lighthearted bio includes the best attributes a guy in his position can have: a love of tobacco;

a discerning palate; and a down to Earth attitude that puts everybody at ease.
