leacha,
about Peter Stokkebye #702 - 'pressed burley'
There seems to be more dark leaf in this burley than I've found in others. It's ribbon cut and looks like it could easily be used in a paper.
Tin note is pure tobacco, no topping whatsoever detected. The aroma is very mild, in contrast to the appearance of dark leaf.
This is an easy burning ribbon cut burley w/o any particularly outstanding flavor notes. One could smoke it all day by itself, but it seems like it will be something I'll use to stretch out some of my flakes.
Because it seems to be a mixture of dark and light burley w/o flavor addition, this will likely blend in with pretty much anything you might want to kick up a notch wit Vit.N, or mellow out a stronger blend you might want to have last longer by diluting it with some very decent unflavored burley.
I've been blending some of my 'otc' with this ps702 just to get more mileage from those with distinctive flavor profile, such as ERR match, Chestnut, or all three. Heinze Burley Blends.
I have NOT, however, attempted to modify my CBK.
