Would love to see the 80S in a rusticated version.
I have been on a quest for a bent bulldog, rusticated, in black.

Am starting to love these black pete's more And more recently

Picked up a 999 shape in a rusticated finish (dark red not black) and it smokes great. Also just ordered a donegal rocky in an 80s shape which should be here next week. Can't wait and I'll post pics when that comes in. Looks like pipes here are pretty reasonable as the 80's style I just ordered was £29.99 :)

Love those Pete shapes. I'm really into the ebony version of the 2011 Pipe of the Year by Peterson. It's a beautiful panelled billiard that looks damn sexy in an ebony finish.

And................. I hate the ebony finish. Got a 306 and a XL315 (minus the stem) that I want to get rid of.

Not into the solid colors myself, nor black. Like a nice, natural looking pipe. A black stain, maybe? Never saw one though that I cared for.

Yeah, I read years ago that painted pipes came about as a way to market inferior briar. I like unfinished natural or stained. I badly wanted to sand the finish off my Butz Choquin, thing smoked so hot. Never did, but I only smoke it in the winter
