Just won a rustic Peterson System 312 made in Ireland for $38 AUD which would be about $34 USD ... It's in very good condition with only one very light tooth mark on the Plip stem.
Really looking forward to smoking this one. Have to go out now so will post a picture when I got back. This one was on eBay Australia so postage is stuff all and I will have it in days.
Photo coming later today. :puffpipe:

Would anyone know roughly how much the unsmoked Comoy's 1981 Christmas Pipe would be worth please. It has the origional box but the sock is not origional but just a plain faux leather sock.
Also this is the Petersons System 312 I won yesterday

Just won a Savinella Estalla Rustic shape 515 EX for $46 its my first Savinella as well as my first Rustic. The bowl is bloody huge, almost 3 inches wide. If I pack of it full it would take me as long as smoking a Cuban Torpedo

Toby, I think PAD's got a death grip on you! :) I wish I had your budget! Those are all great pipes and wonderful bargains as well. Kaywoodies are my favorites. I'm envious!

I actually broke my budget twice cause I really wanted some of those pipes, after next week I'm taking a break till the new year. Most of the pipes I got for a good price.
I was thinking of selling the Comoy's Christmas 1981 but the couple of times I have sucked through it (empty) and realised just how well it draws the more I think about breaking it in and putting it into my rotation (but I have about 10 pipes in my rotation and that makes me question myself). I have a friend tracking down an original sock for it also.
What are your thoughts what should I do in your opinion, I know good pipes are made to be smoked but it's something I could leave to my son "unsmoked" after Im gone.

Just smoked the Chacom and wow, it's a beautiful smoker. It sits well empty or packed on any flat surface, also a great clencher. I know it's an unusually shaped pipe and that is what appeals to me. It came in its origional sock and box and I only paid $25 for it. The sides are stained in a mahogany red, the right side has a great flame grain while the top is stained in a light walnut brown with beautiful birds eye grain. Long story short, I love it and will never part with it, it has not been smoked enough to start caking and hasn't a scratch on it.
The Peterson system I also smoked for the first time upon receiving it today, I must say the Peterson P-lip is a very different pipe to clench, but then again it's the first P-lip I have every smoked from but it's also a great smoker. I find the chamber that the stem fits into but the breathing hole halfway up that chamber, makes for an extra cool smoke. I guess the smoke circulates through the second chamber to deposit any loose tobacco as well as also absorbing more nicotine, tar ect..
All in all with these two pipes I am glad I purchased them, they are great pipes and I got them at good prices.
