Very beautiful! I got a DeLuxe lovat from the Chicago show although mine is not pre-republic. The last mention I have found of them is prior to 1970 when, in Iwan Ries catalogs at least, the only Deluxe pipes were the system pipes they still make. Until then it was their highest grade pipe it seems. Enjoy it! Perhaps you can PM me the price you paid? Just curious to know how I did with what I paid.
