Better to just use a wood raspI just purchased a disc sander for sanding down my pipes that I scorch with my torch lighters. Are you guys suggesting I don't?
I can only assume the seller did this to “restore” themI think for some smokers back then, they were grateful to have at least one pipe. If this let the original smoker keep smoking, good for them.
Oh. Dear. God. That should be a crime. Several. That's beyond even butchery. While perusing eSlay for early 1900’s pipes I came across these two hallmarked Civic pipes. I’m sure they were smoked hard, but these pics made me weep.
Both pipes were listed for $100 each.

Nah. Just drag it along the pavement for a few miles.Better to just use a wood rasp
Boat anchor starter kit. Just add Kwikrete & rope.If they were a lot cheaper, 10bucks they would make fine work pipes.
If smooth asphalt/cement this could give good resultsNah. Just drag it along the pavement for a few miles.
