I would recommend Chelsea Morning, which is produced by GL Pease. It's the same type of blend with similar components, only I think it's of higher quality.
But if EMP is easily available to you, give it a shot! London Mixture is another really good "starter" English from Dunhill. Nightcap is their best (and most popular) blend, and you may well like it from the get-go, but Nightcap is about as "full" an English blend as you can get.
A word of advice: When you first try English blends, your first reaction might be "What the heck is that and how will I ever get that disgusting taste out of my mouth?" If so, smoke several bowls. The taste is very unusual, and it can take a few rounds for your taste buds to acclimatize themselves to it. In other words, for some smokers. English blends are an aquired taste, like beer or scotch. Not everyone has that reaction, though -- the first time I tasted a Latakia blend I thought it was one of the best things I'd ever tasted.

Ok say I bought some EMP and received it on Saturday. As mentioned above the only English that I've tried thus far is Old Dublin. When I opened the package I could smell the tobacco immediately. To me it smelled just like Old Dublin, maybe a little lighter. I smoked a bowl and WOW! It tasted very similar to OD. Is this what all blends with latakia taste like? I'm not sure if I'm ready for this yet. Maybe I need to try it a few more times and as they say it will grow on me. If this is "light" what is Nightcap like?
