A friend of mine that does custom axe work has been wanting me to make a pipe for him. Here is some of the progress from today. Hopefully I'll have it all finished up tomorrow.

Thanks Jeffery I'm still working out the details and trying to figure out exactly how intricate I want to get with this. I'm thinking I'm gonna take it as far as my hands will let me.

Very gnarly! I'm guessing you're using a Dremel or some other kind of rotary cutter to shape it? I'm also curious about what the stem will look like.

I'll get some better pictures later but heres where I'm at on the stem. There will be a short stem for it also.
@literaryworkshop - I use a rotozip for the rough shaping and a dremel for the more detailed work.
