We must all rejoyce, Dunhill is back in production! :worship: I've orderd a tin of Early Morning Pipe and expect to be in tobacco heaven for the remainder of the year. These will most certainly make the slipper.

I'm waiting for my very first tin to be delivered either today or Monday.

It'll be my very first tin only because I've never tried it before, I didn't realize it was hard to get. I hope I like it.

I'm tempted to buy 3 tins of each: Night Cap, Early Morning Pipe, and My Mixture 965

I am smoking the "new" 965 right now. Just purchased yesterday at Iwan Ries in Chicago. It is like meeting an old friend that you have not seen in a while.

ulsterpaddy, according to my tobacconist there's no distributor in Canada ( although I can see them saying that for other reason..)
I'll be ordering online at smokingpipes once they get more in =D as long as I don't order over 200g I won't have to worry bout customs and the such!

Thanks, I looked at one of the better cigar stores here in Vancouver and they seem to be saying on their website that they have Royal Yacht Mixture by Dunhill. They have a little blurb on Dunhill and say that their pipe tobacco production has ceased. Are we all being misinformed here?

I got a tin of each of the 9 blends that Smokingpipes had on Thursday. I started with

Royal Yacht and I'll work my way through the rest. It's been years since I've smoked any Dunhill, but so far they're great. I'm sure there will be many diehards who complain that it's not as good as the old blends, but so far I like it all.

Yes, I'm sorry, but you're being misinformed. Not to worry though ... it seems to be a very common misunderstanding these days judging from various pipe forums. Truth is that Orlik STILL produces the Dunhill line of tobaccos, and there has NOT been a break in production. Only break has been in US distribution.

Arko is correct, and by my educated guess ... and this is a guess, I would say there are about 12,000 - 15,000 new tins in circulation in the USA right now.
That's pretty far from "ceased production".

Dunhill Tobaccos: The English blends are quite good, the aromatics, well, it's a matter of taste...
