I am not sure how genuine the article is ... I remember reading something similar in 2008, about Dunhill interrupting their pipe tobacco line, and yet one can still find them with ease. We shall see ..

Dan: I'm thinking it's much more fun to wring hands or speculate than hunt up facts. If it were a subject I was seriously concerned about I should query Dunhill in re licensing and/or General Cigar.

The Scandinavian Tobacco Group will probably continue to make the dunhill blends just without the dunhill brand name.

Downinit, under current FDA regs, that will not be possible without FDA approval. Selleing the same blend under a new name would constitute a new brand and would have to undergo FDA approvals. The Dunhill brand is valuable. I'm sure that it will find a home, maybe with STG?
