Looks like the mechanism was chopped. The fix is already in the works. A little stainless steel will get it fully functioning

That's my kind of chamber - codgered! Wonder why the plunger got the chop? Does the underbore coke up and make life difficult for it?

I scored this one the other day. Obviously nobody but me knew how rare this pipe is.

582372 150 are the numbers I see. This has been used with teeth marks, small nick out the of wood as seen in the 3rd pic. Small circle or O on the top of the stem. IT APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN BROKEN OFF AND IS NOT INSIDE THE PIPE.
