We need George Dibos to weigh in on this pipe. He could tell us how much it would cost to repair this pipe. Could well be a substantial repair cost.
My plan is to sell it. It was given to me by a friend that had no interest in it, back when I smoked.
I just realized it has been sitting around the house and someone else should enjoy it. I've been selling off fishing, mountaineering, and surfing gear so I thought this might go as well.
If it's not worth much I will probably keep it and not smoke it or maybe give it away. If it has real value then I am interested in selling and buying more fishing gear. But don't tell my wife!

As a father I confess that the first thing I see in the photos is your little one in a purple onesie, the head of your older one, and the toys on the floor. I see you have a pipe there too!
Dunhill seem to fetch a nice price so long as the date/provenance can be discerned. You can always try to put it up on a famous online auction site and see if a bidding war breaks out. A bit of restoration would help. Especially cleaning up the chamber to give a better sense of the extent of damage. Should you do this I would also suggest nice crisp close up photos of all stamps and marks.

The chamber is deep charcoal. See how the missing rim snapped away clean instead of denting? Maximum no bueno.
For all practical purposes the pipe has no collector value, and its age & rarity would be irrelevant if "rebuilt".

As is might be better (I could see it both ways), then a buyer can decide what to do, and how much to spend on what could be done in terms of restoration. Them again people do like shiny objects. Word of advice...ebay is a crapshoot with a pipe like this.
