A little rough, thhe chip on the rim is the major issue, and of course the band...repair or decoration. What do you plan on doing with it?Here are some more photos of the chamber:
I'm not a collector, but that Dublin (which does look in excellent condition) I would be surprised if it couldn't sell for $500 - $800, maybe more...I’m so curious to know how much you guys would be happy to spend on my Dunhill Duke Street in my topic below if you saw it somewhere.
As is might be better (I could see it both ways), then a buyer can decide what to do, and how much to spend on what could be done in terms of restoration. Them again people do like shiny objects. Word of advice...ebay is a crapshoot with a pipe like this.So if it heads to an auction site I should do it as? Instead of taking off the band, getting it professionally cleaned, then listing?
I should also say, that pipe would best be sold IMHO buy a reputable online estate pipe seller. See my ebay comment above.I'm not a collector, but that Dublin (which does look in excellent condition) I would be surprised if it couldn't sell for $500 - $800, maybe more...
