Dunhill Rollagas Pipe Conversions??

I am having trouble finding anyone who will do a couple of Rollagas conversions. You know, I have "Cigarette" Lighters and want to convert them to Pipe (side flame) lighters. Some say the parts are no longer available?

Does anyone know of anyone I can get 2 or 3 converted?

sandollars - ARS, in NC was the last place I could find that could / would convert Dunhill Rollogas lighters from a cigarette to pipe flame valve. In the last batch I had them convert I was told they would be the last, as the flame valve pipe conversion part is no longer available.

I also contacted a few places in Italy that used to do the conversions. They to had no parts.

I suspect you may be able to get them converted in the UK, but I'd contact Dunhill directly to find out.

The new Dunhill lighters are available with the pipe valve, so I must assume some internal design changes have been done.

Too bad the new Dunhill lighters are nowhere near the quality of their old ones. Maybe they are discontinuing parts in an attempt to get them to go away so they can sell new ones!

I would imagine it's just the valve.

While the side angle is a good thing, it's really not necessary, as you draw the flame down. Holding the lighter side ways does the trick.
