A friend of mine in England sent me a 50 gram tin of 9 year old Dunhill Flake the other day. This is what straight tobacco is supposed to taste like. No casing, no topping, no nothing, just pure tobacco.
The problem? It isn't made anymore. So, do any of you know of a tobacco that replicates it? It took me 3 tears to find a replacement for my 965/Nightcap blend. I don't want to wait that long to find something like this again.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions.

I don't know, but if you send me the tin so I can see what it's like, then I may be able to compare it to something else.
Just kidding Chuck. ;-)
Dunhill Flake will be coming back later in the year.

Just out of interest,is that how the tobacco supplier would sell his tobacco in England occasionally, aged like a fine wine?Or did your friend age it her/him self?

I guess my answer of a couple of days ago didn't take. Earnest, he aged it himself.
