try Robert McConnell's Oriental. With a few years on it, this is what scratches my Oriental itch...

This is good need to me as I’m a fan of McConnell’s Oriental.
Paul, I agree with you in regards to Skiff Mix, I think it is by and far the best English/Balkan on the market (well... kind of on the market)

I like Aperitif because it’s so mild. However, the flavor that comes through is so delicious.
It makes you want to just keep gently puffing and puffing to keep that awesome flavor coming.
Durbar is great too. Yet more bold and flavorful. More “in your face”. Not in a bad way. But you don’t have to ponder what your experiencing. It’s a more evident flavor.

Latakia and Perique are among the loveliest of condiment tobaccos, but they have been overused as default condiments, thought of as a sure bet for marketing a blend. I like many of the good old Lat blends, but I look for alternatives. Just adding some burley -- and of course I'm a burley fanatic -- uplifts some English Lat blends. Unflavored Cavendish, Turkish, etc. can add something as well. Cigar leaf.
