Dunhill Dark Flake

When Dunhill blends were being bought up after the announcement of their discontinuation, Dark Flake was still available for quite some time. I kept snagging a half dozen tins at a time wondering why it was still available and at bargain prices. I thought maybe I was alone in liking this stuff but ended up with 30 tins.

I have several aging away. Not as many as I do Dunhill Flake, but I got into that many years ago.

I feel similarly. STG/Orlik nailed it with both Dunhill Flake and Dark Flake.

Yup, my two favorite Dunhill blends hands down. Their Navy Rolls were great don’t get me wrong but I don’t have a refined enough palate to tell the difference between that and Escudo so I chose Escudo everytime, although I do have some tins DNR in the cellar.
