I was quite modest. Nine tins. Although I am tempted to go back for seconds.

The strategy I used was lumping tins with the same price point in its own order, so I placed one order with just DNR, a second with just Royal Yacht, and a third with a mix of tins at the $9.15 price.

jmatt, that's a bummer. If I were going to run this kind of sale, I would make sure that there were more of the cheaper tins than the expensive ones, but that's just Machiavellian me.
I hope that later, after church and family time, there will be some Royal Yacht left.

This sale is still going strong. I've smoked Dunhill Flake a number of times (got some jarred) but since this will cellar nicely I picked up a few more tins; also grabbed some Durbar and Aperitif.

I guess I shoulda learned youz guys while the sale was on. You only got the discount if you bought in threes; I.E. 3,6,9,12 tins, etc. If you ordered 11 tins, you paid full price for 2 of them. And you gotta, GOTTA, get the free shipping at $99 or you've canceled out your savings on shipping charges. And if any of you had a coupon, it may have also been applied to your total (don't know for sure as I didn't have a coupon code). Geez, you guys! (payment for said advice accepted in the form of unopened Dunhill tins)

I ordered 6 Flake, 2 Durbar, 1 Aperitif=9 tins plus some other tobaccos and got the free shipping!

Yeah, I goofed on my initial order and added 10 DNR to some McClelland tins. Once I realized my error later, I placed a second order for 12 more DNR. Somehow that made me feel better. Ha!
