Will do! I don't exactly have a high level of fluency in German, so hopefully they understand what I am asking :DBad Beard, if you get a response, ask them how much Syrian was in it anyway. At this point they should tell you, it's not like we're getting Syrian again.
You can tell by tin - the Syrian one say Syrian. There's a rumor that they stopped using it before the label switch, but it seems to be unsubstantiated. It would be nice to know if and when exactly Syrian was switched to Cyprian. I bought all of my tins just a couple of months ago.
There is no intention to discontinue this tobacco. So you will have further on the pleasure to smoke Ashton Artisan’s Blend!
Already before the war in Syria the Syrian Latakia got very scarce in the market and finally distinguished. Predominantly the Latakia is from Cyprus since years already.
With best regards and always a good smoke,
Your Kohlhase & Kopp Team
They are out too now. They packed and shipped their last Syrian Latakia containing tin November of 2017 if memory serves me correct.Only blender(s) that has Syrian Latakia might be Hallberg boys at MacBaren
