Holy crap! That's amazing!
I know the feeling of "keep cool, keep cool, keep cool" with your pulse pounding in your ears all too well and after its like "omg, did that really happen?"

Threads like this one started me visiting local antique shops. Nothing yet, but you hit the mother load with that Dunhill. Beautiful! With continued care, it will still look the same 50 years from now. Great find.

Hi all,
I got similar stories with one of my Dunhill. Its being repaired by a local pipe carver.

Hopefully it'll be done by this week.
You know, its like visiting Ol' Ollivander's Wand Shop there at Diagon Alley.

Sometimes, the pipe picks you to be their owner :puffy:
happy sweet and delicious smokes !

@ Pufferissimo, I hope you post some photo's when it's completed.
I just found another nice pipe at an antique shop and this time I only paid $5, hehe with No negotiation.
A dusty old Brigham that had hardly been used.
I had my pipesmith friend (John of GioPipes AKA "Daftlilly1" on youtube) buff it up for me.
I don't know if this is luck or a curse, because now I can't pass an antique shop without stopping.

I'm the same way, I have to look into every antique store I see. No luck yet!
Snazzy Brig!
