So you do not have to spend hours watching all of the John Wayne oaters, a great way to spend a few days I suppose, it's one of the "cavalry trilogy."

Had forgot about The Five Came Back, started watching it last night after Tim mentioned it. For the Youngsters in our bunch.

For the record... people didn't use corn cobs to wipe with. They rolled the shucks around the cob, and peeled off a shuck... thus the saying... "aw, shucks." However, the unlucky guy who used it after the last shuck had been used, got the cob.
I do like the John Wayne Westerns, but i think I preferred the Westerns of the 70's best, especially with Clint Eastwood. The Duke was good, but Eastwood just had an edgier nature in those he did.

But, these mentioned are on my list to watch again. I do love me a good western.
