Man, I hate to hear that. AUD$150 is outrageous for that amount of tobacco. I hope yall's situation changes in regards to that. Is it any better to order from the US and deal with customs?

Apart from cigarette kiosks, there is not a single B&M tobacconist in Sydney.
There are a few retailers in Melbourne who also sell online. They are not allowed to show photos of the products - both tobacco or pipes. Choice is very limited compared to what you guys can get in the States and over in Europe and the UK.
Price of a 2oz/50gm tin is @ AUD$150

Thankfully my TAD kicked in soon after I started back with pipes 3years ago and I have a small stash that should do me for a few years.

You can apply for a Permit to Import Tobacco Licence. They are valid for a year. I put in for a new one a month ago, and I'm still waiting.

I have a friend who buys 1-2 tins at a time from 4noggins without any problem.

My last 4 shipments (before I found out about the Permit) were confiscated and destroyed.

Given that I am somewhat discouraged from helping out in the garden by my wife because of my ineptitude, that may be just a pipe dream. ?
