When camping in humid summer weather, I sometimes dry out flakes on a piece of paper towel over the defroster vents of my truck with the A/C kicking. Crispy in about 10 minutes. I think MSO once suggested doing roughly the same thing with a metal tea ball for ribbon cuts
Yup in the car I hold it in front of the vents.
Inside we have AC so it dries right out.

Something like this. A coffee mug warmer with adjustable temperature settings. Lot's of options on Amazon for under $20.
Here, and other climates, the humidity is too extreme for simply leaving it out to dry. Most days, with dryer blends the moisture will increase while it's out to "dry." This will work when my heater is running, that's only a few days a year. I'm not sure why but here my a/c seems to humidify the air. Some days my a/c blows out some form of fog, that's the house or the car. It's an extreme situation, I believe people in the dryer climates would not understand.
I'm in on the coffee warmer, tobacco dryer and easy bake oven. I'm currently trying the crockpot method now.

Yea, Its been explained to me several times. I still don't really understand what the are or what they are used for. The name sounds like an awful medical condition though.
I have a cheap clip-on lamp on the corner of my desk with a 65W incandescent flood light bulb in it. Dries tobacco real fast.

Is it possible for you to jar about, 2 oz which you plan to smoke reasonably soon, at your optimal smoking dryness? That way you don't need to constantly prepare bowl after bowl. This is what I do when I pop a tin-- I let it sit with just the lid-- once I see it's perfectly dried, I then jar it and smoke the rest.
Yes, more than possible. I jar most of my opened tins, and dry them down in the jar, so I have 10-20 ounces of ready-to-smoke tobacco available at all times. I find a hygrometer or two indispensable.
I’ve heard of people using Boveda Packs in their jars for this purpose.
Thanks to my friend Elon Musk, my tobacco is drying faster than ever. It may not be a real flame thrower but it’s a heluva tobacco dryer
