I only like my Carter hall left out to dry for about a month before I smoke it. Crunchy crispy dry. So once my glass jar humidoor gets low, I open another tub and let it sit for a while. Also why I like the vintage glass jar, as it dries out the tobacco to my liking. Haha

I've had a couple of aros that needed drying. The tell-tale sign was they were sticky with PG. Loaded fresh into a pipe and smoked I could feel the steam on my tongue. Let it sit a couple of hours and it was improved.

Don’t dry ‘em out with a heat gun! I tried it. Don’t work. ?‍♂️
Actually, it would probably do really well with untopped tobacco, but it drove the topping off of a flake of Erinmore when I tried it. The moisture was perfect, but the topping was barely there afterwards. Fail.
