My cousin sent me this link.

It is the Norwegian Military Band and Silent Drill Team.

The Marine Corps have some competition.

Larry, thanks for the post! What a super-sharp outfit! The drill team and the drum section were particularly impressive.

Very creative directing, I'd say.
I participated in high school marching band (46-50 yrs. ago!) and to this day I still appreciate the genre.

From time to time PBS airs a national drum and bugle competition, and I always watch it.

My Dad met my Mom when he was stationed at the Marine Barracks Washington.

I have always loved the Marine Corps Silent Drill Team.

As a Jar Head myself, I am prejudiced ... OOOOOO RAH!

The Norwegians can be proud of two things now.

The Band and Drill Team, and they make some damn decent pipes.
