Hoosier, you’re exactly right in your analogy. Blairgowrie and Levant are the fuller blends in that series. The others are definitely more reserved. All of them fall in the mild to medium end of the spectrum, closer to medium. If a person favors more body in their tobacco the D&S blends may not be satisfying. Like you said good blends but not big in body.
It’s nice still having choices.
I added some more of these to my cellar today for aging with an eye towards them being all day smokes eventually.
Have you tried RO’s Magnum Opus? Oriental forward and complex with a medium to full body. I find it evolves continuously through the bowl more than the D&S blends do.
