If it's not structural damage I'd just leave it and think of it as rusticated finish on the satin finish.

Or, you could go the epoxy-hole-filling route, if you're feeling adventurous. I wouldn't.

Just leave the pipe alone and smoke it. Call it an added feature of the pipe!!
