Drones over New Jersey

I'd just like an answer .

And you should have one. The first time I experienced a couple C130s from the 910th Airlift Wing fly over my house at night at LOW level, I called the Sheriff's Office to ask about it. They told me.

After a month, no one has an answer about large drones hovering at low level over people's homes. They should know.

Just heard on the radio tonight they are saying they aren't a threat because they have not and cannot determine an intent. The drones have evasive technology and are not tracked by radio or radar and are flying without lights. They are also reporting that people may not actually be seeing the drones flying over the water supply and restricted areas ! P.S. They are larger than the commercially available drones people can purchase.

Here's a more expanded response from my previous one.

If Picatinny is taking a general stance of "yeah, we've seen some" and that's about it.....I'm certainly not even raising an eyebrow.

Picatinny is the center for the DoD research, development and acquisition of guns and ammunition as well as a weather research center among other things for the US military.

If they generally aren't concerned, neither am I. If they started becoming genuinely concerned, I'd start paying a little more attention.

Beyond that, I consider it all sensationalism. Is it sweeps week?

I agree wholeheartedly. I distrust every word that comes from the government, but the fact that they don't care too much leads me to believe they're keenly aware of what's going on.

Furthermore, I bet they'd like the story to die out so they don't have to explain anything regarding our capabilities.

Also, jamming signals for civilian use is not illegal if it's national security related. While I like an open, honest government (I'll wait until you're all done laughing), I believe there are OPSEC principles that should be followed.

I.e. there could be more harm from divulging the truth to the public than just denying a problem exists at all.

Sorry, not trying to be argumentative, but the FBI does investigate spies. Not saying that these drones are spies. Just trying to clarify.

There are multiple videos .

There are only a limited number of possibilities :

1. US government

2. Foreign government

3. Government hired contractor , ours or foreign .

4. Extremely sophisticated prankster.

5. Supernatural , meaning something beyond our science/knowledge .

Edit : 6. This seems a little far-fetched , but I suppose the drug cartels could be involved . They have a lot of money .......

I find it highly suspicious that no one has thought or guessed it could be the PMSS delivery program gearing up !!

Yep. Now if when I drive past their facility tomorrow and there's all sorts of commotion happening around their borders, I then know something is up.

When there's something real happening within their general area, you can bet their personnel are out checking on it as they have all devisions of internal emergency services staffed internally. They'll be out there even for accidents, etc. that happen around the general roadways that border them. There is absolutely no way drones are flying around they aren't aware of (plus they have signage around their facility explicitly stating the area is a no drone zone).

Apparently, it may be a nothingburger ... so much so that Speaker Mike Johnson was getting a classified briefing on the drones from the Defense Dept and Homeland Security today .

Could be iranian drones with chinese quantum technology which is allegedly untraceable/untrackable per them.

While all this is going on there s a chinese spy being held on trial in california for flying a drone over an air base.

Nothing to see here ...

This has been my thought since day one. If they are flying over our airspace, we have a right to know what they are and who sent them.

If they start knocking them out of the sky like ducks at a carnival booth, then somebody is gonna start yelling.

Personally, I think it is an internal government job and yet one more lie being covered up..... But that's just me.

We were at a Baltimore Ravens game last October, in the cheap seats (hey, thanks Coca-Cola...). We spotted a large drone overhead and sure enough, so did the stadium people. They stopped the game three times when it swooped down near the playing field. News the next day said they caught the guy. But that size was nothing like they are reporting here.

Usually when something nefarious is going on, they don't make such a big production out of it if they want it to work.

If you were going to use a drone to collect some secret data, would you put lights on them? If so why?
However, if they were meant to make people more suspicious of our government agencies, it only works if you let them, and sure, many choose to eat the bait hook line and sinker, probably because they were already suspicious. Plus, over a month of sightings, and no one has blown up yet.

By all means, I am not an espionage expert, so I will defer to you. In what way do you think we are under threat?
